All parental notes must be submitted within 48 hours of the students returning to school. Notes will be signed and dated explaining the reason for the absence, the date(s) of the absence (s), and a daytime phone number. Bryan County Schools Attendance committee will review any notes submitted after the 48 hour deadline to determine whether the excuse is accepted at that time.

As it relates to attendance and expectations regarding the check out process, please exercise the following should your child need to leave early! The process is as follows: send in a note, student drops it by attendance office in the morning, be sure to include a good contact number for verification, student will be given a class dismissal note, and sign themselves out

• If your student is not feeling well, please do NOT send them to school. With concurrent learning they have the opportunity to take advantage of the curriculum even when not present - they can log into their google meets.

Be sure to check out the front page of the RHHS website for “Senior Celebrations!" If you have a student who has been accepted to a college or has received a scholarship, please be sure to have them complete the appropriate form and help us celebrate the Class of 2021!

Effective July 1, 2021, children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade

(including new entrants), MUST have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4), unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16th birthday.

Students interested in running for Student Council for the 21-22 School Year, elections will be held May 6-7. Check out all of the important information you need HERE!

Schedules for the 21-22 school year are tentatively set to be distributed on THURSDAY, APRIL 29 during advisement. Students and parents should check the schedule for errors. If there is a mistake on the schedule, students can submit a schedule change request by completing the form linked on the school website. Requests for course changes will only be accepted by completing this form. The window to request changes begins at 7 AM on Friday, April 30th, and closes at 2 pm on Thursday, May 13th. Please understand that only requests made for schedule errors (missing classes, scheduled for a course previously taken, etc.) will be addressed. Requests for changes to electives or specific teachers will not be addressed. Thanks in advance for your cooperation in helping us get off to an excellent start to the 2021-2022 school year!

Rising juniors and seniors, check out the opportunity to support CURE through fundraising, volunteering, advocacy, and awareness of pediatric cancer with the leadership and guidance of CURE’s staff. If you would like more information or would like to apply, please click HERE.

Richmond Hill High School plans to host a Summer School opportunity for eligible students this Summer. This opportunity will be available for rising 11th and 12th grade students who have previously failed a course required for graduation. Students are limited to one course, and the cost associated with each course is $50. Summer School begins June 7th and concludes July 1st, and students who sign up for this opportunity will be expected to attend Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. An electronic registration document will be released on April 29th on our school’s website.

Tutoring is also offered Monday through Thursday in Room 904 for any students needing extra help (2:40-4:00). Teachers are there to help! Please encourage your students to attend!

Richmond Hill High School and Richmond Hill Athletics are excited to announce the use of Go Fan for our sporting events. Go Fan allows all event spectators to purchase tickets prior to events, or at the gate through your mobile device, avoid long lines, and limit person to person contact.

All students parking on campus, including dual enrolled students must have a parking permit.

Qualifications to Purchase a Parking Permit during the Regular time periods:

• Not on Obligations List
• Passing or passed at least 75% of classes

*Students with more than 6 absences and/or tardies (for second semester 19-20) will be able to purchase a parking permit with a signed attendance contract. The attendance contracts will be made available to those students who must have this in order to purchase a parking permit.

*Students who do not meet the Academic expectations will be able to purchase parking permits beginning the second nine weeks. All of the above qualifications must continue to be met in order to apply at the second nine weeks and purchase a parking permit for $65.00. Spring Parking Permits only are available for $32.50.
