What a wonderful week this has been! We were so thrilled to see our smiling cheetahs returning to school Monday morning after a fun-filled summer!. Their excitement and positive energy filled the classrooms. Throughout the week, students and staff took time to learn new routines and establish classroom communities. Our young learners used Cheetah Pride Passports to tour the building and review behavioral expectations. We will continue to review routines and expectations next week.

Thank you for helping to make our first week so successful. We value the partnerships we have fostered with returning Memorial School families, and we look forward to building relationships with families who have just begun their Memorial journey. The 2023-24 school year is going to be fantastic!

Thank you to the PTO for decorating the outside of the building for the first day of school! The outside of the building looked beautiful and welcoming!

Morning meeting is school-wide classroom management practice used to address students' social-emotional learning needs and build community.

A PAWsitive office referral is submitted when a staff member recognizes a student who is going above and beyond to exemplify one of our three school rules - taking care of others, taking care of self, & taking care of things.

Thank you to an anonymous family who donated backpacks that were filled with school supplies for any Memorial students in need.

When considering the number of absences your student has accrued, keep in mind that a student must be present for 195 minutes in order for the day to count! When bringing your student in late, or signing them out early if they have not been in school for a 195 minutes the day will be recorded as an absence.
