APS school board members are community members who demonstrate extraordinary dedication to our public school. January marks School Board Recognition Month and is the perfect time we thank our school board members for their dedication and commitment to our school.

Adair Board members includes President Stephanie Jackson, Vice-President Mike Back, Clerk Breanna Grubbs, Deputy Clerk Russ Langley, Member Sarah Boyles.

“Recognizing the efforts of our school board is vitally important because of all the hard work board members put in to making our district a success. Celebrate School Board Recognition Month with us by thanking our school board members!” Adair Superintendent Mark Lippe said.

The 7th and 8th grade academic team won the district championship last week. The team defeated Berryhill 280-230, Jay 200-190, and Sperry 300-170. Team members include Benjamin Barrett, Jaxon Bates, Danyelle Teed, Sara Kirk, Rachel Kirk, Kenley Parker, James Proctor

Warrior Way winners for the week are 2nd grade Brianca Thorpe, 4th grade Taelyn Wade, 3rd grade Peyton Lima, 1st grade Lakyn Miller, and 5th grade Brielle Newby. Congratulations, keep up the great work.

Physical science students found the density of both cubes and irregular solids using measurements and displacement.

We will be administering the ASVAB on 1/25/23 in the HS Library from 8:30am-11:30pm. Any Sophomore, Junior or Senior may take the ASVAB.

• The Find Your Interests inventory is based on John Holland’s widely accepted theory of career choice.
• CAREER EXPLORATION TOOLS
• Armed with an understanding of their skills and interests, students then explore careers that coincide with their unique skill-interest profile.
