Michael Jr: Know Your Why
My "WHY" for Teaching
It has taken me years to understand the "why" behind my "what". My "what" is teaching and I have known that since my sophomore year of high school. Being in the College of Education at WCU has helped me to understand and develop my "why".
My "why" is that I want to influence my students in the wonderful, positive ways that my teachers did. My "why" is that students need teachers who will be an advocate for them, who will love them, and who will make them feel safe.
My "why" is your child and their future.
