Thank You to Our Parent Volunteers

A huge shoutout and thank you to our parent volunteers that came to TCE this week to help wrap teachers' gifts. Our staff was very appreciative of the gift of time that these volunteers gave in order to take be able to mark an item off of their holiday to-do list. They wrapped about 100 gifts this week! We still have an additional day if anyone would like to volunteer for a shift. As a reminder, since this is a volunteer position, anyone coming to help will require a current background check through the district.

A Note from Kate Mancuso - TCE Librarian

Our December database spotlight is National Geographic Kids. Through MackinVIA, learners can access National Geographic Kids. This resource is an online database housing books, videos, magazines, and pictures produced by National Geographic for children. The content includes the complete run of National Geographic’s Kids magazine from 2009 to the present, over 600 books from the National Geographic Kids Collections, 999 pictures, and 218 videos. It is searchable for research and browsable for general interest.

Class Parties: All elementary campuses will be able to have the 1-2 assigned PTO room parents attend and run the class parties. No other parents or visitors will be able to join that day. If you have any specific questions about your child's class party, please reach out to your child's teacher.
