We hope you all had a wonderful winter break filled with family, friends, and fun!!

Don't forget to mark your calendars as the PTSA will be hosting a meet the new administrative team on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30pm please watch for the link to this meeting. PTSA will also be asking for nominations for officers soon - please join the PTSA Lancer family.

Some Reminders-

• K-95 masks are still available for students and so are COVID test kit's for at home use. Call 339-1436 if you would like one sent home with your student or if you would like to pick up the at home Covid Kits
• A couple of reminders for you and your child; there is no video recording to happen in class or in the hallways - none. We have had some students video people without their permission and used these videos inappropriately on SnapChat.
• If your child tells you they are staying after school, it is either for a sport, a club, or with a teacher. We have had some students "hanging out" which is not allowed and creates a safety risk
• If your student is late to school more than three times they will have an after school detention set up for them. Attendance to school is super important and we want our Lancers Learning!

If your child is having trouble putting his/her phone away during class, teachers will be asking to have them put it on their desks or it is an option to have them turn the phone in daily to the main office and pick it up at the end of the day. Phones are a huge barrier to learning and usually play a part in some manner in most of the discipline we deal with daily.

If you are dropping food off for your son or daughter, it needs to be during lunch time:

6th Grade Lunch- 10:45

7th Grade Lunch- 11:25

8th Grade Lunch- 12:10

We will have a provider at the middle school on 3/30/22 to do sports physicals call 339-1404 to sign-up.

If you have been notified by the nurse that your child needs an immunization, take time this week to get that done. Students without up to date immunizations by March 11th may be asked to stay home from school until the immunization is updated. Thank you!
