Message from East Hill Principal
Dear East Hill Elementary School Families,
What a wonderful second week! Our students and staff were busy this week with universal screening measures, bus drills, and all classrooms have started implementing the academic and social-emotional curriculums.
I want to thank everyone that was able to join us for our Curriculum Night on Wednesday evening-- it was so nice to have the opportunity to have parents and guardians visit EH!
Enjoy this weekend and the fall weather!
~Susan
School Expectations
We continue to teach and review our school behavior expectations, or rules, in all settings in and out of the building: Be respectful, Be responsible, Be safe. We have some incentives to motivate students. Be sure to ask your child about our Wildcat Wows!
Congratulations to this week's Wildcat WOW prize winners!

Dot Day Fun!
International Dot Day was started in 2009 to celebrate the inspiring story, “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. It is the story of a doubting student who is dared by a caring teacher to “make her mark”. What begins as a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence, creativity, and courage.

New Website and Mobile App
We have redesigned the West Genesee website and took into consideration the information shared in the results of the survey we distributed in June. It is now easier to find items directly related to your school from that school's homepage. It is also very mobile responsive and easy to find items from your phone.
In addition to the new website, we are also launching a new mobile phone app to communicate to students, parents, and community members about West Genesee news, upcoming events, and other important information. The West Genny app is available to download free from the Apple App store or the Google Play store. For more information about the mobile app, click here to view a video about the app.
This app is different from your ParentVUE app which you will continue to use to communicate with teachers, check on schedules, and other items that relate directly to your specific child(ren).
