D64's Securly Parent Portal
Partnering to Manage Online Safety for Our Students
Online Safety for the D64 1:1 Digital Learning Program
District 64 uses Securly to keep students safe on their Chromebooks and iPads in our 1:1 Digital Learning Program. Through the Securly Parent Portal system, you can be emailed weekly reports of your children’s activities on the Internet every Tuesday evening. The email you get from Securly will be sent to your registered email and come from the following address “support@securly.com”. The subject line of the email will read “Your weekly email report for student@studentsd64.org”. Be sure to allow images in emails from securly.com. No more wondering what your children are up to, you can see for yourself! Most importantly you can view Flagged activity which would include topics of cyberbullying and self-harm.
You can also login as a parent on Securly's website and view your child's online activity information there.
As part of the solution, Securly has also given you access to the free SecurlyHOME app. Download the app for iOS or Android for free.
Here's how you can get started...
Step 1: Download the SecurlyHOME App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for your mobile device.
Get Parent Portal on the go. Real-time activity reports, right in the palm of your hand.
Step 2: Open the App and click on the “send me a link” button.
A link will be sent to the email address you have registered with your child’s school.
Once you’ve clicked the link, you’ll be taken to the SecurlyHOME App. Your account is ready to go!
