Welcome
Enviroschool Update
Our hens now have bright coloured ring tags which makes it easier for each class to identify their 'Class Hen'. Still not a lot in the way of eggs but they are helping keep our rubbish bins less full by eating food scraps from children's lunch boxes!
Next week we are meeting with Lauree from Enviroschool Taranaki to 'reflect on Bronze' - a process where the children can share with Lauree what we have been doing and how we are 'exploring and engaging with the Enviroschools kaupapa and guiding principles'.
Exciting times!

The Hurlstone Cup netball team played in a one day tournament in New Plymouth yesterday. They had a win and a couple of losses to stronger teams. Thank you to Hollie for umpiring on the day and to parents, and coach Miss Dravitzki for transport and support.
Tomorrow we have four girls entered in a combined Toko / Eastern Districts team playing in a Girls 7s Tournament in Inglewood. They will be up against some tough competition and will need to use their speed and agility to full advantage! Good luck girls!
