Week of November 14th-18th

Closing in!

Hey guys,

I hope you have stayed warm over the past few days. For those that do not like the cold, I am sorry. For those like me, I am down with it!! You can make fun of me later. However, we have turned the boilers on at the school for this next week.

Speaking of this, we have five days until our Thanksgiving break. Let’s make the most of it and be present and ready to learn. I can promise our teachers will be ready to go. To help you prepare, I encourage you to see our paid sheets so you can know when your child may have a test this week. The link is at the bottom of this newsletter.

Not a lot to share in this section, but I implore you to read each section below. You will find some great information about the next few weeks at PES. Please let us know if we can be of service.

Help PES meet their goal.

Decatur County’s Community Thanksgiving for local families is beginning to gather donations.

PES is gathering Mashed Potatoes!

Our goal is 500 pouches or boxes! Our last count is 131. Please begin sending in your donations (potatoes or a monetary offering so we can make the purchase) as soon as possible

Smart School - You can still sign up!!!

SMART SCHOOL is in full force. Smart School is a chance for students to get extra help with homework, studying for tests, and keeping up to date with online programs. Smart School is open until 6 each day. If you want more information about it, please contact Dr. Pearcy by emailing her @ amanda.pearcy@decaturschools.org.

Coats

Hey guys,

We have a lot of coats in our lost and found. If you are missing one, come look through them and find it.

We have also received a donation of coats for students. If your children are in need of a coat, please visit the school or call and see what we can do to meet that need.
