Need to Know Announcements
- Students will be taking a short reading assessment this week related to the ATLAS test that our state gives. Please make sure your child comes with a charged Chromebook each day. The test will be given during Social Studies one day this week.
- Boys are having soccer tryouts this week. Soccer in 7th grade is not a AAA sport, so our teams are considered "club" teams. Our teams will play the other middle schools in Springdale. We DO require a physical to tryout for the soccer teams.

Careers Class Visits Har-Ber
On Tuesday, our Hellstern Careers class students attended a Mock Veterinary Clinic at Har-Ber High School hosted by students in the veterinary science classes. Our Heroes students learned about skills in the workplace and the Har-Ber students demonstrated skills needed in a veterinary clinic such as suturing, bandaging, and client communication. We are grateful for the teachers who are willing to partner with us to open the eyes of young students and the world around them. Our hope is for students to understand the different curriculum they can explore during their high school years to better help them decide on a future that fits their aptitudes and interests.
Herobotics - Wins again!!
The Herobotics Red and Gold teams competed at the State Qualifier Competition on Saturday, December 2. They represented Hellstern with excellence winning two awards. The Gold Team won the Engineering Excellence Award for their efficiently designed robot, innovative project solution, and excellent teamwork.
