Congratulations Odyssey Teams!
Congratulations to our Odyssey of the Mind teams, who competed this last weekend. Our primary team (K-2) did a great job and each team member received a medal. Paige Hanafi earned an additional Omer award for her resilience and dedication to her team despite unforeseen difficulties.
Our Division 1 (Gr 3-5) team was also awarded medals and is moving on to the State competition! Their dedication and teamwork paid off. They will compete at State on April 1st.
We are so proud of our Odyssey of the Mind team. They represented ASA wolves well!
Artistic Motion Education Club
The Artistic Motion Education Club will begin in March! This club is open to all students in *grades 4-8. Students will learn a variety of motion skill arts such as: Juggling (which includes balls, pins, rings, bounce juggling, contact juggling, and more), Kendama, Hackey-Sack, Yoyo, Poi, Hoola Hoop, Jump rope, Rubik's Cube, and many other disciplines.
Students with zero experience in these areas can join to gain a variety of disciplines and bring them to a level of proficiency in a wide range of skills.
Some benefits of learning these skills include: positive effects on cognition, posture, balance, sensorimotor performance, increased motivation, capacity for multitasking, cultivated persistence, improvements in hand-eye coordination, mind-body connection, methodical thinking, creativity, focus, dexterity, grace, ambidexterity, and confidence. In addition, these skills are a great form of physical activity.
If your child is interested in participating, please click here for more information and fill out the form by 3/6/23.
*Great news! This club has been opened up to students in Grades 1-3. Students that have never participated in a sport/club will have priority access to this club. If your child is interested in participating, please click here for more information and fill out the form by 3/8/23.
Mandarin Recital Theater
Are you ready to take your Mandarin skills to the next level? Then Mandarin Recital Theater is the club for you! This club is open to all students in grades 1-8. If your child is interested in participating, please click here for more information and fill out the form by 3/14/23.

Our Science Olympiad team will be competing in their competition on March 11, 2023 at Etiwanda High School. The last team practice will take place on March 9, 2023. We wish them luck as they compete! We’ve had a blast in Science Olympiad this year and wish to thank our advisors Mr. Guillen and Ms. Gil-Colon.
Cross Country - Ending on March 9th
Cross country will be ending practices on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Thank you to our coaches: Coach Cordts, Coach Julius, and Coach Brianna. Hope you had a great cross country season!
Choir - Ending on March 14th ~ Grades 4 - 8
Choir for grades 4-8 will be ending on March 14, 2023! Thank you for all the fun in choir this year!
Mileage Club - Every Friday!
Mileage Club takes place on Friday starting at 7:30am. Students should enter through the front gate. Remember, any student on campus for Mileage Club from 7:30am-7:45am needs to have this waiver completed. Waivers must be turned in by the Wednesday before Mileage Club on Friday in order for students to participate. This allows us the opportunity to update our records. Please turn waivers into your classroom teacher or the front office. Additional printed copies are available in the front office. See you on the field!
🙋♀️ Volunteers
We appreciate our volunteers greatly! There are multiple opportunities to get involved in our school community. Please review the Sign Up Genius for our after school programs. If you are interested in volunteering for Mileage Club, please contact Mrs. Lazo at stacey.lazo@asathrive.org. Thank you for supporting our programs!
LCAP - Your input is Appreciated!
Your input is invaluable in helping Allegiance continually improve our programs and experiences for all students. Please complete the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Parent Survey. Click on the links below to complete the survey. If you have students in different grades and or classrooms, please complete one survey per student.
Thank you for helping strengthen Allegiance for all students.
📝 Returning Student Registration
Did your Wolf attend ASA last year? If so, please log on to your ASA Parent Portal account and complete the 22-23 Returning Student Registration (also known as the Welcome Packet) as soon as possible. To do this, login to your parent portal account via the website, not the app, then go to the left of the screen and click the icon that reads Registration 2022-2023.
💧 Water Bottles
Please send a refillable water bottle with your wolf daily being sure their name is on it. The school is unable to provide water bottles for students. Thank you!
💊 Medication on Campus
Please note that only students with a medication form signed by a doctor and turned in to the Health Office are permitted to carry medication on their person. The form must specify that the student may carry the medication with them during the school day.
🕝 Early Student Pick Up
When possible, please refrain from picking up your Wolf during recess, lunch or the last hour of school. Please make an appointment in advance so we can have your Wolf ready upon your arrival.
🚗 Please Do Not Block Driveways
When dropping off and picking up your wolves, please remember to be mindful and respectful of our neighbors and their homes and do not block their driveways.
🥪 📖 Lunches & Personal Items
Please send your Wolf's lunch and personal items with them in the morning. The office is unable to deliver items brought in during the school day.
Share your Photos with ASA!
Do you have great photos or video clips of ASA events to share? We are always on the lookout for the best photos and videos to help showcase our school programs and community!
Please email your best photos and video clips to MEDIA@ASATHRIVE.ORG. Please include the event name and date to help us organize the photos and video submissions.
School Clothing Donations
Our Health Office is always in need of gently used, washed clothes (polos & pants). If you would like to make a donation, please drop the items off at the front office. Thank you!
Short-Term Independent Study
Requests for Short-term Independent Study after 4/28/23 are not available as we must allow enough time for the office and teachers to process paperwork and for absences to be reconciled by the end of the school year.

Need to Visit the Front Office?
If you need to drop something off or pick your wolf up early, please make an appointment using the link below so we are prepared for your visit.
Special Note: The office door is locked for everyone's safety. Please knock when you arrive. If we don't answer right away, it is because we are on the phone. We appreciate your patience.
