Dear Families,
Going into this unusual school year, I was filled with mixed emotions. I spent many sleepless nights asking myself the following questions. How are students going to do coming back to school after being out for such a long time? How are students and staff going to wear masks all day? How are we going to get everyone to use hand sanitizer? How am I going to keep everyone safe? How are remote Wednesdays going to work for our students, parents and staff? Now that we are into our 5th week of school, I can honestly say that I am so proud of everyone for not only making the most of this crazy situation we have found ourselves in but for absolutely rocking it. I am really enjoying joining classrooms on remote Wednesdays and seeing all of the support our students are getting from home and school. What a great way to support each other and provide the best possible services to our students. Keep up the great work everyone.
With the change of seasons, we are-embarking upon the cold and flu season.
Remember that children should stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours. We appreciate your cautiousness when dealing with illness this year and appreciate you sharing a bit more information than usual when it comes to attendance. Please continue to share if your child is being tested or quarantined for exposure to COVID-19.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our students and staff safe and healthy.
Have a nice weekend,
Christy
