Mill Valley Weekly
October 28th, 2021
Hello Mill Valley Families,
What a year we had with our Mill Valley Community Garden. Our donations this year were at an all time high...928 pounds! Thank you to the families who helped harvest and deliver the fresh produce to the Muskego Food Pantry. It warms our hearts that we are making a difference for so many families in our community.
Reminder...Monday, November 1st is a day off for our students. Enjoy the day!
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Principal
Allyce Harris, Associate Principal
Thinking Students...Changing the World!
THANK YOU Mill Valley Families!
We want to thank our parent pick-up families for your patience while we perfect our new process. For the past two days, we have opened the lot at 3:45pm and all students were picked up by 4:00pm. The entire process took a total of 15 minutes.
TOMORROW...MV Halloween Parade
- Door 12 will open at 2:20 (please do not arrive early)
- Go directly to the gym where students will be circling through to show off their Halloween spirit!

Mill Valley Turkey Project
It is almost November and we will be going on Buddy Class Turkey Hunts this month! Your child is bringing home their own turkey to disguise! Please decorate this turkey as a family project and return it no later than Friday, November 5th. Turkeys will be displayed throughout the entire school for the month of November!
The turkey can be decorated in any way that you would like. Be creative with anything you have around the house - paint, feathers, fabric, crayons, cotton balls, buttons, bows, noodles, cereal, etc. I hope your family will have fun working together on this project! Finally, please cut out the turkey when you’re finished.
Destination Imagination 2021-2022 Season
We are so excited to kick off a new season of Destination Imagination in the Muskego Norway School District!
Destination Imagination is a creative problem solving competition. It promotes creative thinking in students from 1st grade through college. It offers students a unique opportunity to participate in challenging and motivating activities from drama, writing, building, and creating. Students learn to work with others as a team developing self-confidence by creating solutions, evaluating ideas and making final decisions. If you believe this after school activity is for your child, there are a number of ways to learn more about DI. Please access the links below to learn more about DI. Check it out!
Sign up by November 9th.
If you have any questions, please contact Mill Valley’s DI coordinators Julie Hetzel or Rachelle Enk.

Thanks to all of our MV students & families that attended the Pumpkinpalooza Dance. We had such a great turnout and loved seeing everyone’s smiling faces. Thanks again to all of our wonderful volunteers (aka “THE BOO CREW”), we couldn’t have done it without you! Below are a few pictures from the night.
