Congratulations to our 2021 National Merit Semifinalists: Elizabeth DeProspo, Elliot Druga, and Philip Haugh
Over 1.5 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2020 PSAT. Approximately 16,000 Semifinalists are expected to advance to the Finalist level. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. The number of Semifinalists in a state is proportional to the state's percentage of the national total of graduating seniors.
Congratulations to our Commended Students in the 2021 National Merit Program!
With a Selection Index of 209 or above, each of these students is among the 50,000 highest scoring participants out of 1.5 million program entrants:
Pranesh Ambokar, Brendan Baron, Andrew Burton, Yiyang Chen, Ian Cowley, Elizabeth DeProspo, Elliott Druga, Matthew Fuerst, Connor Greenwell, Philip Haugh, Hyeyun Jeong, Rebecca Jun, Veronica Kidwell, Arav Patel, Lukas Proeschold, Rishi Saggurti, Yigit Simsek, Shreya Somayajula, & Gavin Wharton.
- The School Counseling Team sent multiple reminders in the spring for students to review their class selections.
- The deadline to finalize course requests was June 12, 2020.
- If there is an error in your schedule (missing a course, or enrolled in a class you have already taken) please email your school counselor.
- Requests to change a level, elective, teacher, or specific period are not considered errors.
