How I Live Now

In the novel How I Live Now, Daisy, a girl from New York, abandons her old life to live with her cousins in Britain. Unfortunately, after she gets accustomed to her new family, war breaks out, and she must be wary of her surroundings if she wants to survive and reunite with the rest of her family.

The story explores the aspects of many characters, including Daisy, Edmond, Piper, Osbet, and Isaac, who all live together on a farm in a rural portion of Britain.

This book makes use of the theme of war and peace. It begins with a story of how wonderful life can be, and then war sets in and begins breaking up that perfect image.
