Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic Scholarship
Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic is excited to be offering our annual achievement scholarship to 2023 graduates. Please share this information with your graduating seniors!
The winner will receive $2000 and the runner-up will receive $1000!
Eligibility Requirements:
* Graduating class of 2023
* Must be pursuing higher education (college, trade school, etc.)
* Must be involved in the horse community in some way
* Must reside in Saginaw, Midland, or Bay Counties OR within 35 miles of our facility

Mid Michigan chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (MMAIChE)
The Mid Michigan chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (MMAIChE) is pleased to offer our 2023 scholarship for high school students in the Mid-Michigan area who intend to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering. Trade Scholarship Through SETSEG
SET SEG SKILLED TRADE SCHOLARSHIP
The SET SEG Foundation believes in supporting Michigan public school students in the pursuit of enrichment opportunities that advance learning and create opportunities. With the shortage of skilled trade workers in Michigan, we want to help revitalize these career paths and support students in their professional pursuits by giving 20 scholarships each in the amount of $500.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Michigan resident
- Must be a high school senior attending a Michigan public school
- Must have been enrolled in a Career and Technical Education Program (and provide transcript)
- Must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in an accredited two-year college, technical school, or other accredited technical institutes in the next 12 months
AWARDS
- 20 Scholarships each in the amount of $500 will be awarded
- Awards must be used for school tuition costs or certification program costs
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Applications will open on Feb. 1, 2023
- Deadline is April 17, 2023
AWARD NOTIFICATION
- Scholarship winners will be notified by May 2023.
- As a condition of acceptance, scholarship winners will be asked to sign a SET SEG Foundation release form for the purpose of announcing the scholarship recipients via the website, social media, and publications.

J. Russell and Gladys Irene Carmell Scholarship
he 2023 J. Russell and Gladys Irene Carmell Scholarship Program online applications will be available here: https://learnmore.scholarsapply.org/carmellscholarship/
Applicants to the J. Russell and Gladys Irene Carmell Scholarship must be:
- U.S. citizens who have resided in the Tri-County (Bay, Midland and Saginaw Counties, MI) area for a minimum of four years prior to scholarship application.
- High school seniors or the previous year graduates*, in the top 25% of their high school graduating class.
- Planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Planning to study and engage in a recognized nursing profession including Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Nurse-Anesthetist.
The application submission deadline for the 2023 program is March 16, 2023 3:00 PM Central Time.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
Part of the CMU Chippewa experience is joining a community, and that experience can literally pay off for your students.
Applications are now open for the Leader Advancement Scholarship, the Lloyd M. Cofer Scholarship, and the Multicultural Advancement Scholarship. The first step is applying for admission.
After submitting an application for admission, eligible students will gain access to the following scholarship applications.
- Leader Advancement Scholarship - Rewards dedicated leaders with $2,000 per year. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- Multicultural Advancement/Lloyd M. Cofer Scholarships - Rewards students committed to equality and inclusion. Valued between $4,125 annually and a full-ride. No minimum GPA required.
Applications are due January 15.
