Hello Kennedy Families,

As we head into the holiday season we are maintaining a heightened focus on academics. This week we are looking forward to our Winter Concert. Our band, chorus, and orchestra students will perform.

Progress Reports for the second marking term will be sent home next Friday, December 16, 2022.

Scoliosis screenings will continue on December 12.

Kennedy's Student Santa Drive

For the past 29 years, the Kennedy Middle School has purchased gifts for children in need. The Waltham Community has indicated that because of financial burdens and struggles, many children do not receive presents for the holiday. We would like to bring some joy to these children and make their holiday a little brighter! Each homeroom at Kennedy has a Student Santa representative that will be collecting monetary donations during homeroom. We started this week and the drive will end on Friday, December 16th. Hopefully, this drive, as it has done in the past, will clearly demonstrate what the Kennedy Community is all about. Please consider having your child donate to their homeroom and feel the joy of helping a child in need during the holidays. National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society will hold its first official meeting Thursday, December 15th from 2:30 - 3:20. We will be meeting in the cafeteria right after school. The signature portion of the acceptance letter and the t-shirt order form should have been given to Mrs. Scichilone. 100% of the proceeds will support Kennedy’s 8th Grade Class
