Pledgestar - Help Raise Funds for Pick's Playground

Hello Cardinals! Coming home with your child in their THT folder is a handout that outlines a new way we are raising funds for our upcoming fundraiser, Comedy & Cuisine. This format allows each student to share with family and friends an opportunity to donate to the playground!

This handout outlines the simple steps on how to get started. In such a digital world, this is the perfect way to send either an email or text to everyone you know asking them please support our efforts to bring a playground to St. Cecilia. This is not a way for YOU to donate but instead a way for you to ask family, friends, and coworkers to give to a great cause (and great kids)!

Please click below to get started, using the handout your child is bringing home as instructions, and allow those donations to roll in. Any student who brings in a donation will earn an out of uniform on March 18th.

Add your children's names as participants so Pledgestar can track how many donations they bring in.

Step 3

You can enter email addresses or cell numbers to any individual you would like to ask for a donation.

Here is an example of the text that goes out to each cell number you enter. For fun, I picked my husband's phone but you can also send to grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc! The message is already customized and you just add an adorable photo of your child!

3:15-4 PM - Operetta Cast PIctures

4-5 PM - Operetta Rehearsal

Wednesday, March 2

Ash Wednesday - NOT A SPIRIT DAY!

8:30 AM - All School Mass

1:30 PM - Operetta Performance (Grades 3-8)

No after school Operetta rehearsal

Thursday, March 3

Spirit Day

Out of Uniform Day for any student who sold at least two Operetta tickets

7:00 PM - Operetta Performance (Grades 3-8)

*Students arrive in full uniform (sweaters included) between 6:30 - 6:45 PM; go to cafeteria

*Makeup for cast is to be done at home

Friday, March 4

8:30 AM - Grandparents Day Mass

10 AM - Operetta Performance (Grades 3-8)

12 PM - Dismissal from school

Monday, March 7 - 11

Spring Break - No School!

St. Cecilia ABC 2nd Annual Spring Plant Sale

This is our 2nd annual Spring Plant Sale that runs from March 1 - April 8. The plants can be picked up Wednesday, May 4 from 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM in the gym (just in time for Mother's Day). See attached flyer for order turn in dates and prize dates for orders that are turned in.

Grandparents Day Activities

At Grandparents Day (March 4), we invite all grandparents to join us for Mass at 8:30 AM and the Operetta at 10 AM.

We are trying something NEW at the Grandparents Operetta performance: grandparents can purchase a special class party, out of uniform day, or extra recess for their grandchild's class! Please see the two pictures below with what options will be available for the grandparents to purchase that morning.

Please share this information with all grandparents who will be attending that morning and tell them to bring their cash, checkbook, and/or debit cards! We know how much they love spoiling their grandchildren!
