Welcome, Sidewinder Family, to our online newsletter for the month of January!

Happy New Year! We hope you enjoy seeing what we have been up to at Twentynine Palms Elementary and what fun activities we have planned!

PBIS Expectations at TPES focus on Being Respectful, Being Responsible and Showing Self-Control. Here are some examples of what we teach our students on how to meet these expectations on the Playground.

We were overjoyed to have so much family participation at our recent events on campus! Families joined us for our PTO pole decorating event, cinnamon rolls for breakfast, as well as our Winter Songfest. Please click the video link below to hear our students' performances!

We also had special visitors from the Twentynine Palms Rotary Club and the North Pole on December 13 so that our first and second graders could each receive a new book! Below are some of the pictures from their visit.

• 1/16/23 - No School - Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
• 1/18/23 - Minimum Day - Gates open at 10:15
• 1/18/23 - PBIS Reward Day for Sidewinders with no minor/major behavior reports
• 1/20/23 - Lunch on the Lawn with your Sidewinder
• 1/20/23 - End of First Semester
• 1/24/23 - School Site Council Meeting - Conference Room - 3:00 p.m.
