October 16th and 19th Remote Learning Days
- On October 16th and 19th, our George Giants will be remote learning at home. This is a practice for our remote days before Thanksgiving break. Your child's teacher has been preparing high quality learning lessons for your child to complete on these days.
- The lessons will be sent home starting the week of October 12th, so you may choose to have your child turn in his/her work before October 16th. All work the teachers are sending can be done independently. Teachers are currently teaching mini-lessons to ensure your child is ready to do this work at home.
- All lessons are due by Wednesday, October 20th, but they can be turned in early by October 15th.
- We have Wi-Fi on the porch if you should need internet access.
89 Readers Grew One Level Last Week!
Your child plays interactive reading games each day which help him/her improve reading skills. Watch for your child to bring home Lexia Superstar Reader Certificates! Each time your child passes a level, he/she will bring home a certificate which tells you what skills your child has learned!

Yay, Book Character Dress Up Day is Coming!
Students may dress up as their favorite book character on Oct. 30th. We will not have our regular book character parade through the school but will do something just as fun that day to celebrate reading! The costume cannot be anything scary and must be about a book character.
