SME newsletter for families and the community
Dear Parents,
On October 10 and 11, students and teachers have a holiday.
October 12 - 14, students participating in the Storybook Pumpkin contest will need to bring their pumpkins to the library. Participation is entirely optional.
Voting for the contest will begin on Monday, October 17 and continue through Halloween. Students may vote by bringing in money and putting in the cup beside the pumpkin they want to vote for.
October 17 - 21, second-grade students will take ITBS/COGAT testing. It will be important for all second-graders to be in school those days. Please avoid scheduling appointments on those days as well.
October 24 - 28 is Red Ribbon Week. Please watch for information concerning this week in your students' newsletters.
October 20 is All Pro Dad in the morning and Literacy Night in the evening! Literacy Night will have a theme of Family Games this year. There will be food trucks and lots of fun. We hope everyone will join us!
