Busy month coming up!

Congratulations on making it to the end of trimester 1...our Wildcats couldn't have done it without you! Please remember that there's still time to check in with teachers about missing work and make-up assignments before the end of trimester report cards go out. The month of November goes by quick, so please keep up with the upcoming holiday related school closures, end of trimester business and parent conference appointments. More detailed information is available in the bulletin below.


We thank you for your continued assistance with screening your child BEFORE bringing them to school every day. It's also important to remember to keep students home when they're feeling sick. In recent weeks, I've noticed that certain students are forgetting their masks on a daily basis. It would be helpful if families would remind students to keep their masks in their backpacks , so they're prepared upon arrival to school. Please continue notifying the office (805-488-3541) if your child is diagnosed with COVID-19 too. We'll connect you with health office staff to assist and support you with your testing and other COVID related questions.

REMINDER: Students have Early Dismissal EVERY Wednesday!

Please remember to pick up your child early every Early Dismissal Wednesday. Too many students were forgotten on Wednesday afternoon. Please review our early dismissal schedule below:


  • TK: 8:00-11:21 am
  • K: 8:00-12:15 pm
  • Grades 1-3: 8:00-12:35 pm
  • Grades 4-5: 8:00-12:45 pm

Veteran's Day on Thursday, 11/11 - NO SCHOOL

Williams School will be CLOSED for Veteran's Day on Thursday, 11/11. We'll see our Wildcats back at school on Friday, 11/12.

Parent-Teacher Confs: 11/29-12/10

Please be on the lookout for conference invitations from your child's teacher. Please work with teachers in deciding whether a virtual or in-person appointment will work best for your family. In addition, students will be on an early dismissal schedule for the entire two weeks of parent conferences:

South Oxnard Public Library

Our partners at the South Oxnard Public Library reached out to remind our community that the library is open to the public and ready to welcome all of our students who might need a computer to use, a place to read or study, or just a few great new books. Character Counts Trait: Citizenship

During the month of November, we'll be celebrating the character trait of "citizenship." We invite students to wear purple tops/shirts, bottoms, hats socks and shoes on Character Counts Fridays this month.

Cell Phone Safety

If you choose to send your child to school with a cell phone, please remember that you take full responsibility if it is lost or stolen. Please also remind your child to turn off their cell phones as they enter school and during the school day. They can turn on their phones at dismissal. Thank you for your help!

Breakfast available before school!

REMINDER: Our wonderful kitchen team has breakfast available in the cafeteria EVERY DAY before school. Breakfast times are 7:30-7:55 am Monday-Friday. Please be advised that ONLY students are allowed in the cafeteria.

Please help your student(s) remember to bring ALL of the following items to school every day:
