The Concord Call
Date: May 3, 2019
Weekly Updates:
- Make sure to have read the Lindbergh Learns newsletter from Jana Parker sent Friday with changes and updates at the district level.
- Class Placements will happen during plan time on Thursday (4th grade will be on Friday). We will meet in your PLC rooms. Please bring your cards.
- Friday: JA in a Day schedule will be coming soon for Grades 1-4
- We will host Mizzou SYOSP students next year. We have participated in the past where two Mizzou seniors are assigned to our school for the entire school year. They begin by rotating to each grade level in the first semester and then student teach the second semester. Welcome to Riley Mullin and Emily Vicich. They will be visiting Tuesday, May 21st.
- End of quarter is on May 22nd. Report cards are due by midnight on May 29th.
Last day of school on Friday, May 24, will be a half day for all students. As a reminder, no lunch will be served and students will be dismissed at 11:50 AM.
The last contracted day for teachers also will be Friday, May 24.
District’s end-of-year Staff Recognition Ceremony will take place on the afternoon of May 24 at 1:30 PM in District Auditorium.
Liz, the counselors, and I may try pre-recording Flyervision as the end of the day (when it is filmed) has been really crazy the past few weeks. We apologize for not being on it regularly and will make an effort for the last 3 weeks of school to pre-record.
Thank you for your grace with me this week....this is such a crazy time, and I may have not been the most patient. I may have added Adrienne twice on the staff list and excluded Nicole. My apologies ladies!
End of Year To Do's
End of year checklist: Please print and complete this. You will need to return this to the front office along with required materials no later than Tuesday, May 28th at 4:00 p.m.
- Classroom teachers: Please complete this survey to request materials such as planbook, gradebook, special supplies, etc.
All Staff: Please complete this survey with your summer phone number and t-shirt size for back to school.
For those of you packing to move classrooms, there are boxes in the 4th grade hall and packing tape in the "HUB." Dave has asked that all movable shelving be emptied. They cannot shrink wrap the shelves as they become too heavy. In addition, since our building was painted just last summer, they will not be painting any rooms.
