Welcome Grove Middle School Students!

It is our pleasure to welcome you back to campus for the 2023-2024 school year! This year will be filled with many opportunities to learn and grow as a student. We hope that you will bring your energy and enthusiasm with you as you fill the hallways and classrooms of Grove Middle School! It is our mission for all students to feel welcomed, connected, and seen this school year. The teachers at GMS spend hours creating engaging classroom activities throughout the year. It is our goal to promote optimal student learning by analyzing achievement data to help each student set goals for growth and improvement in many ways. Remember to strive for excellence not perfection.This year, you will be challenged to grow in your academic abilities to achieve success and we are here to help you every step of the way! It's almost time to have the best school year ever!

Drop off and Pick up instructions

Drop off in the morning for Middle School students is on 10th street in the "Drop Off Zone" along the red barriers between 7:30-8:10 a.m. You can drop them off anywhere in the drop off zone; it doesn't have to be exactly at the gate. We want traffic to flow as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Pick-up in the afternoon is NOT in the "Drop off zone" but rather in the Middle School parking lot. You will park in a parking spot and wait for your student to meet you at your vehicle. We do this to keep traffic for the Lower Elementary and the Early Childhood Center flowing. Please refrain from parking and waiting in the Drop off zone or the fire lane to wait for your student.

Chromebooks

7th and 8th grade students who already have chromebooks SHOULD bring them to school the first day. Make sure it's charged and ready to set up for Google Classroom and other online programs.

Tdap Vaccine Reminder

7th grade students must have their Tdap vaccination prior to starting Middle School. Please make an appointment if they have not had their vaccine to avoid absences.
