From the Desk of the Principal...
We had another great week - and are SO thankful for the beautiful weather we are having. The children absolutely love the new playground equipment - it is so sweet to watch them run and play and enjoy the fruit of all of your sacrifice and efforts in the form of both donations and installation. Also the door codes are finally working again. Please use your code if you need to enter the building before or after school. Thank for your patience with this.
Mid-terms will go home tomorrow (Friday) for grades 4-8 and all families are encouraged to attend conferences next week (Tues - Thurs).
Kids and teens do better in school when parents get involved. Attending parent–teacher conferences is one way to be involved and help your child succeed.
A parent–teacher conference is a great opportunity to:
- discuss your child's progress
- share your child's strengths and needs
- work with the teacher to help your child do well in school
If you haven't signed up online, you will receive a notice from the office with your assigned time. If you need to schedule a time outside of conferences with your child's teacher, we would be happy to accommodate - just let us know!
Beginning this weekend after masses and continuing through next week, the Book Fair will be open. Sister Deanna hopes that all of you can stop by with your students and peruse the selection of books available for purchase. Books are a great way to give your child a 'treat' that they both love AND is good for them.
