Principal's Message

Dear Larsen Families,

Gratitude is happiness and that is exactly what I have experienced during my time at Ansgar Larsen. Every day, I am moved and inspired by what I see. Every day, I marvel at the incredible devotion of our staff and their unique ability to teach and inspire our children virtually. Every day, I celebrate the amazing support of our parents and community.

I believe that the success of our school is built on a foundation of mutual respect and inclusiveness. Every day, dedicated teachers and staff nurture a culture of fairness, love and caring, all focused on the goal of providing a safe learning environment for our students and families. Larsen is committed to continuing this focus and supporting our families during distance learning and beyond.

I am thankful that Ansgar Larsen continues to strive for excellence in each and every classroom and to cultivate an open and positive school climate even while learning remotely.

During this time of Thanksgiving, I want to share my gratitude and thank you for being such an important part of our children’s lives. This is a wonderful time of the year to get together with friends and family to celebrate and be thankful for all the wonderful people in our lives. On behalf of the Larsen staff, I would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you all a safe and happy holiday.

Parent Conferences & Report Cards

Trimester 1 Parent Conferences will take place between November 30 and December 11. Your student's teacher will inform you of your conference date and time. Their teacher will email you or send you their report card via Talking Points the week or the day of your conference. Please keep in mind that this is the first picture of your child’s achievement this school year. Your child’s report card reflects his/her progress towards the end of the year academic expectations.

KEEP YOUR CAMERAS ON: STAY ENGAGED!

Students are expected to have their camera on during live video synchronous lessons unless otherwise specified by parent to student's teacher. Thank you for your support with this as it will help students remain engaged in their learning.
