Our mission at Bryant Elementary is to be a place where all individuals are encouraged and provided opportunities to develop their creativity as well as their social and academic potential for the enhancement of our ever-changing community and multicultural society.

If we engage in collective teacher efficacy that include differentiating instruction and increasing self-efficacy for students, then the achievement gap will narrow for African-American and English Learner students.

LBUSD's 3rd Annual TECH Summit

LBUSD Teachers, Administrators, Intermediate and Senior Office Assistants!

OCIPD will be sponsoring our 3rd Annual Tech Summit on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm at Browning High School. It promises to be a relaxed, casual time with hands-on activities to help you make meaning of the digital tools at your fingertips. Potential session topics include G-Suite Applications, Online Formative Assessment, Screencasting, Digital Annotation, Digital Citizenship and more! This year, we will also have a General Session with a dynamic guest speaker!

Make sure to Save-the-Date, as registration opened, Monday, February 24, 2020. Print the Save-the-Date Flier as a reminder since registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

SEAL (Summer Enrichment Program)

Bryant will host the SEAL Program this summer. If you are interested in teaching the program you will need to apply online.

Program Description

• June 22-July 17, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., including lunch for students

• A combination of enrichment and additional learning opportunities that will be tailored to match the program interests of students, parents and staff at each site

• Available for current K-4th grade students at the site, with priority for those students who do not meet grade level standards.

• All teachers across the district will be invited to apply to work during this program, with priority given to those teachers currently assigned to one of the participating sites

• The assignment may be shared by two teachers

• Teacher hours will be 8:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Each participating site will also receive office support and recreation aides; along with the custodial team already working; and instructional aides, as needed. (ESY): Classified staff apply and are assigned through the Personnel Commission.
