Arrival & Dismissal

This week we worked hard to adjust to our dismissal procedure. Our goal is to ensure all arrival and dismissal procedures are as safe and efficient as possible. Please remember school officially begins at 8:20AM and ends at 3:20PM. If you pick up or send another adult to pick up your child, please be prepared to show photo ID. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Memory Boxes or Bags

Everybody’s story matters….

In an effort to learn about each other and gather ideas for future narrative writing projects I am asking each student to bring a memory box or bag to school by Tuesday. The memory box/bag should contain 3-5 items that remind them of stories they could possibly write about. The items should not be valuable, breakable, or living. Thank you for helping ensure your child remembers to gather and bring these items in order to be a part of our memory sharing activity.

Snack

Please send your child with a healthy snack if possible. It should not require a spoon and should be easy to eat. If you are willing to send extra snacks to share, we would gladly accept.

We are loving flexible seating!

We have a variety of tables, chairs, yoga mats, and more available in our classroom. Students are expected to choose a spot they can look, sound and behave like a learner.
