Superintendent in Residence
This week, Mr. Bodwell spent 2 full days at RLM. This will allow him to "live" in the buildings and really get to see what is going on. He enjoyed being in and around classrooms, lunch/recess, shadowing admin, arrival/dismissal and generally just being present. The students enjoyed interacting with him as well!
A Message From Ms. Roberts (PE Teacher)
Starting after Christmas Break, there will be a new rule put in place for gym. The rule is as follows: Any student who is not in sneakers or closed-toe active shoes will not be allowed to participate. This includes crocs, booties, rain boots, snow boots, sandals, slides, etc. Due to safety concerns this is being put in place as it has become an increasingly prevalent occurrence. Feel free to pack a change of shoes on your child's gym day or leave a pair in their backpack if needed! Also, a great present or stocking stuffer is a reusable water bottle!! Thank you!
Label Clothing
Our lost and found has quickly grown this year. Please label your child's clothing and outerwear to prevent any lost items.
Thank you!!
Donations Needed
Gently worn sweatpants, shirts and new underwear and socks are needed: Many times during the year children visit the nurse's office for a replacement of clothing. Instead of calling parents/guardians to bring something in, we would like to have available items in the nurses office to use as needed.
Thank you!!
Wildcat Toy Drive!
In partnership with the West Bridgewater Fire Department , West Bridgewater Public Schools, and the West Bridgewater PTO, we are having a Toy Drive to gather toys and gift cards for local West Bridgewater families in need. (Ages of the children range from 5 to 17.) Last year, we assisted approximately 50 West Bridgewater families.
If you would like to donate, please drop an unwrapped toy or gift card to the police or fire station lobby. Or if you have a school aged child, please have them bring the item to their school. There will be collection bins at each location. If you schedule a Santa visit in December through the West Bridgewater Police Department, please consider donating an item for Santa to bring back to the police department that night.
Any questions, please contact our School Resource Officer, Officer Pope at tpope@wbpd.com or 508-586-2525 ext 5119.
