Dear BHS Parents and Guardians:
PSAT/SAT Day is quickly approaching at BHS. On October 11th, all students at BHS will be testing. Seniors will be taking the SAT, Juniors and Sophomores will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT and Freshmen will be taking the PSAT 8/9. All students will need to have their charged school laptop to test. BHS Young Men's Leadership Group
As the 2023 – 2024 school year begins, we are excited to be presented with the opportunity to grow our Young Men’s Leadership group. Current members are actively encouraging peers to join, with the purpose-driven desire to grow as individuals and become their best selves. Most importantly, we will be partnering with the Beta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Inc. (our Greater Hartford Chapter) and its BSL Educational Foundation, Inc. to develop our young men through its “Go To High School, Go To College” National Program initiative. Chapter members will serve as mentors, conduct workshops, seminars, and leadership development for our students. We encourage families to encourage their young men to join now. The joint venture will begin in the very near future.
