Lombard Family Express
Keeping Lombard families in the loop
All Aboard! It is time for the 2021-2022
1st Day of Student Attendance is , Thursday, September 2!
Lombard Middle School is committed to helping students achieve their dreams through high expectations, caring relationships, and equitable opportunities. Every day we will encourage our students to work hard, be kind, show pride, and celebrate growth!
Our theme this is year is 212 Degrees, the Power of 1 degree.
At 211 degrees, water is hot.
At 212 degrees, it boils.
And with boiling water comes steam.
And steam can power a locomotive.
One extra degree of effort can make a difference!
We are excited to work with our families to raise the degree!
Walk your child's schedule!

LOMBARD DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
Important Reminders
Thank you for sending your child with a mask!
Please Stay Home When Sick
We ask that families, students, and staff screen for symptoms of illness and stay home if feeling sick.
People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
School Physical
Students entering 6th grade must have a school physical and dental exam prior to the start of the school year.
Please contact our office if you have any questions.
Cell Phone Expectation
We expect cell phones to be turned off and out of sight when entering Lombard Middle School. Once locks are issued students will be required to put cell phones in their locker if they bring one to school. We feel this policy will help students stay more present and engaged in their learning. The intent is to support them in their academic success, removing a major temptation and distraction, and promoting social interaction and connection.
All classrooms have phones to help us communicate with families if needed. Students also will be issued a Chromebook that will support their learning.
We appreciate the support in making learning the priority at Lombard Middle School!
