The cast for The Little Mermaid Jr. is excited for opening night. Remember that the show is tonight March 24th at 7:00 PM and tomorrow, Saturday, March 25th at 2:00 PM. Come and join us for an amazing show. Please see the attached flyer for additional information regarding the upcoming show.

Weathersfield Students in Grades K-8

Our school is participating in the Kids Heart Challenge, a very special community service program to raise funds for the American Heart Association. It's your child's chance to be a Heart Hero by learning about heart health, spreading the word, and raising funds to save other children. Have your child go to heart.org/KHC they can take one of the three challenges and email family and friends to ask for donations. Your child will earn a wristband just for registering online and taking the challenge!

As a thank you for participating, I will conduct a glow-in-the-dark sports week during the student's regularly scheduled PE class from April 3rd to April 7th. The week will include games like glow basketball, badminton, volleyball, Ultimate Team Battleship, and bowling.

Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union is currently looking for substitute teachers to work at our Hartland, Weathersfield, and Mount Ascutney School Districts. Substitutes would be responsible for carrying out sub plans for students in grades PK-12 and communicating with the absent teacher any feedback from the day. Interested candidates should fill out an application and/or submit their resume to Teena Canfield, HR Director at teena.canfield@wsesu.net. Employment is subject to passing a criminal background check. WSESU is an EOE.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our teams for the town trivia challenge. Congratulations to the Weathersfield Historical Society for winning this year's challenge. I hope that everyone had a great time and they are planning to compete for next year.

The P.R.I.D.E. assembly was a huge success for our students. Thank you to everyone that attended today to celebrate our students. This is a K-8 assembly to acknowledge students that are showing Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy.

Remember to wear your Weathersfield clothing on Fridays. Show your school spirit by wearing red and black.

Students in Grades 3-12 in the Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union will be completing the Spring Panorama Survey. The Panorama survey asks students questions about their social emotional learning (SEL) and key questions to help our school counselors identify students that may benefit from further SEL support. Weathersfield School will have students in 3-8 complete this survey from March 27th to April 28th. If you have any questions about the survey or would like to opt your child out, please contact our school counselor, Melissa Cole: melissa.cole@wsesu.net.
