Prepare:

The weekly formative in USA TP have only one attempt and I give all students who do them extra credit, so the score will not affect the grade. If you would to practice with that topic or at least show an understanding click view results and click the purple exclamation point on the right to practice.

Please follow the plan below very carefully and complete assignments on date they are assigned so that you don't fall behind. Please make it a priority to and attend all CC sessions as scheduled since we are reviewing for STAAR in every class.

Note from Mrs. Fields: Go look at your Science gradebook and see if there are any M's in there! Make sure you get all your work completed and turned in. Please let me know if you've completed a USATestprep activity so I know to updated your grade.

Looking Back -

Last week we explored Mixtures and Solutions. We learned that mixtures are made when two or more substances are combined, but not chemically. A solution is a mixture in which one of the substances dissolves in the other.

Looking Ahead –

Next week we will be looking more into how things dissolve in solutions and can you separate the different parts of a solution.

There is an extra credit assignment available in USA Test Prep – 4th Extra Credit #1. Read the article (paste it in your browser) and answer some questions using your own ideas about the topic.

Continue to devote one hour (or two 30 minute sessions) to Stride Science lessons each week.

Hello 4th graders, this week we are continuing our series of reviews over what we have learned this year. We will take one lesson at a time beginning with unit 8, lesson 2. This week social studies will meet on Thursday at 10:00am.

Every week you will check the grade level newsletter to see which Music Studio lessons to complete. Just open Unit 1, Lesson 1 in the OLS and click the link to take you to Music Studio! (This is why everything in the OLS for Music EXCEPT for Unit 1, Lesson 1 has been marked skipped.)

I update the gradebook on Friday afternoons. Check the gradebook on Monday morning to see your updated Music grade.

If your grades seem lower than expected please check your TGAs. For PE please make sure you have been marking your weekly lesson complete. If you are missing a PE TGA please email me to let me know if you have been doing your daily activity each week.

I will keep the Health Activity Book attached so that you use with some of your OLS lessons.
