- The Mendham Borough School District continues to explore the implementation of a full school day (8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.), inclusive of movement, lunch, and recess. Please take a moment to respond to the following questions: https://forms.gle/WyTBGYexBWqnNm5E8. If you responded to the survey yesterday afternoon, please note that an additional clarifying question has been added. Please feel free to respond again; duplicates will be deleted.


- Picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, November 16. Note that students who did not have their pictures taken in September will do so during retakes. Virtual learners who need to have their picture taken or would like a retake can do so between 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Orders can be placed at mylifetouch.com using Picture Day ID: EVTNZZHFH.

Virtual Parent Workshop

The Mendham Borough School District will be hosting a virtual parent workshop, "Raising Resilient Teens in Challenging Times", on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. A note from Mrs. Lanka

A parent asked me recently if I could recommend a good read on how she could communicate more effectively with her pre-teen daughter. I recommended an old favorite: "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and How to Listen So Kids Will Talk" by Faber and Mazlish. Recently, I came across the following books that I have also heard were good reads for parents - I hope it helps in the event you are looking to better understand the teenage brain, improve communication with your child, or better foster social and emotional learning opportunities.
