Head of School Message
We are THRILLED to see all of our returning families and to welcome newly enrolled families, and I can say Day one is in the BOOKS. All of you did FANATASTIC! Classrooms were full as students completed orientations and started our beginning of year district testing, NWEA. To our returning families - thank you for your continued support, and to our new families, remember give yourself grace, this is a new experience and there is a learning curve. Remember we are here to HELP! We have many supports in place to help our students and families transition into the new school year. We also have opened a zoom help room for any family with questions starting today (see information below). Remember our district website has a wealth of information including school calendars, parent/student handbooks, parent resources and more.
Our mission here at AZVA is to Find A Way for all of our students to make one year of academic growth and we need each of YOU to make that happen. In the words of Dr. Seuss, "You're off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting so get on your way."
Have an incredible school year!
Sincerely,
Dr. Kelly Van Sande
