February 20-24
Parent Teacher Conferences
The El Dorado School District will host Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, February 21st from noon - 6:00pm. Students will not attend school that day in order for teachers and parents/guardians to meet.
During conferences, parents/guardians have an opportunity to visit with their student’s teacher(s) about their scholar’s progress and goals this semester. Spring conferences will be held in person on each individual campus. We ask that parents/guardians make appointments with their student’s teachers.

If you have any questions concerning conferences, please contact your student’s individual teacher or the main office at 864-5100.
We encourage each family to participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences to help steer our students toward success.
Promise Meeting
Attention Seniors- There will be a Promise Parents meeting at 5 pm on Parent-Teacher Conference night February 21 in the Commons. If your parents did not attend the fall meeting, they should attend this one!
FAFSA Frenzy
College and Career Coaches and other volunteers will be in the library during Parent Teacher Conferences from 9:00 am-5:00 pm to assist with the FAFSA and other scholarship applications, so please make arrangements to attend. It is a good idea to make an FSA ID/login ahead of time. You can do so using this link. There is an instructional video posted in the College and Career Google classroom to assist in creating an FSA ID. Both the student and a parent will need an FSA ID. Remember to use separate emails when creating accounts. Students should not use their school email to create their FSA ID. Please complete this form to give us an idea of how many families plan to attend.
Be sure to bring:
Student FSA ID/Login Information
Parent’s FSA ID/Login Information
Parent's tax returns for 2021 ( what was filed earlier this year)
Student's tax returns for 2021 or W2 (if filed)
Student Social Security Number
Parent's Social Security Number
A list of schools you plan to attend
Your Chromebook
Cell Phone
Check the Google Classroom for a more detailed list of information needed to complete the FAFSA.
Let us know if you have any questions. We are happy to help in any way possible.

EHS WOLF Students Offer Food Truck
On Friday, February 17, the EHS WOLF students and Mrs. Emery operated a food truck for staff. The students worked the event from start to finish, including-
planning the event
taking orders
packaging the charcuterie meals
serving the lunches
handling the money from the sales
maintained cleanliness and health standards
We are so proud of these students for accomplishing such a big task!
Journalism
EHS Journalism students practiced yearbook spread layout design with tasty elements on Tuesday. With graham crackers as dominant photos and chocolate bars as text, it was tough to not take a bite of the supplies until the designs were finished.
