Dr. Seuss birthday
March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's Birthday! We celebrated with guest readers and an author's visit by Hilary Paul McGuire. He discussed his book HomeBoys in College. He encouraged our students to become writers, too!
Ms. Martinez Teacher and Coordinator
Ms. Martinez read "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss which is always so much fun! Get on your way....
Ms. Gavin, principal kicked off the Dr. Seuss Celebration on March 1st.
Ms. Gavin read the Lorax to our students. She asked students about what they thought about the story and how it impact us today.
Ms. Gonzales, Spanish Teacher
Ms. Gonzales read Green Eggs and Ham in both Spanish and English. What talent!
Ms. Thompson, Resource Teacher
Ms. Thompson read several stories to our students. She was very helpful and flexible.
Thank you!
Collaboration with El Super (National City)
El Super sponsored pan dulce as a treat for our students and teachers during our Dr. Seuss celebration. Yummy!

April is National Poetry Month
To move, to breathe, to fly, to float,
To gain all while you give,
To roam the roads of lands remote,
To travel is to live.
