The holiday season is here, and we are quickly approaching Winter Break! Our Winter Break schedule is slightly different from the last few years. We are dismissing for break on Wednesday, December 22nd. Students will return from break on Wednesday, January 4th.

Because December is a short month in terms of school days, every day is EXTRA important. Our district attendance in 21-22 was below standard, and we are focusing our efforts on encouraging strong attendance for all students, because it is impossible to recreate what happens in the classroom for those who are absent on any given day. We do our best to provide make-up materials, but the rich class discussions, engaging instruction and activities, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities can not be made up. As long as your student is not experiencing illness with symptoms that would exclude them from school, please support our efforts by talking about the importance of attendance with your children and helping them to be at school, on time, every day. Showing up matters!
