Director's Message
Dear Friends and Supporters,
This is a time like no other. By now, we have all been impacted in some way by COVID-19. However, despite the challenges, this has been a time that is bringing out the best in people, including our Board and our supporters. Our Board is adjusting to our new realities by working remotely and shifting to online. These changes keep us moving forward safely.
As members of CEF, we are aware of the way the Centennial community is navigating, affirming why we work hard to provide “above and beyond” educational experiences. This year has proven to be our most challenging with the cancellations of so many planned fundraisers. But we are resilient, and we will face these challenges head-on with compassion, fortitude, and integrity. In times like these, CEF stands shoulder-to-shoulder in support with you, giving our best to provide what is needed.
We are all in this together, no matter the distance. Thank YOU for all you are doing to make a difference by continuing our mission to provide the best educational experience for our students.
Stay safe and healthy,
Carolyn

CEF Donates over $25,000 for Food Insecurity
We are holding steadfast while we make an adjustment to our mission to continue to support Centennial School District students. Warminster was the second hardest hit community in Bucks County with unemployment. The School District has provided a minimum of 5000 meals a week. Klinger Middle School has been set up as a farmer's market knowing the need in the District is extreme. In addition, over a three-week period, a community partner, The Fuge, donated 7000 meals. We heard you, and we reached out to our supporters and you responded, raising over $25,000 for food insecurity. Your response was overwhelmingly heartfelt.
As we continue to work together, we continue to build a strong community along
with strong partnerships. We are all in this together and together we will continue
to help.
Thank you to all those that helped make it possible.....

"On behalf of all of us at Klinger, thank you to you and all of the CEF board for the generous donation to our free Farmer's Market. We are continuing to provide a trunk full of groceries to between 150-200 families per week. A highlight this week was a donation from Richboro Ritas - it kept everyone cool and brightened many faces. Your monetary donation allows us to supplement the food and supplies that we receive as donations to provide families with a well-rounded supply of fresh produce and dry goods. We've also had many families with young children ask us for help with diapers and baby wipes. Again, the monetary donations greatly help here as well. With much gratitude and kind appreciation".

2020-2021 Grants
We are exploring whether grant restrictions need to be released. As you know, some of our grantees are not able to use their awarded grants due to the pandemic. Therefore, we are releasing the restriction of having to use the grant by the end of April 2021 and giving teachers the opportunity to move their awarded funds to the 2021-2022 school year. This is with the hopes of many of the pandemic restrictions being removed.
Looking back at a Grant from Last Year!
