Dear Families,

We have had a great few weeks back to school. It has been so awesome having students back in the building. We know things look different this year but we appreciate all the patience and flexibility as we have been navigating uncharted waters this school year. I am extremely proud of our students and staff as they have handled the changes extremely well. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Drop Off & Pickup

Please be sure you are not dropping your child off before 7:45 in the morning, as we do not have anyone on duty until that time.

When dropping off and picking up your student, please be sure to stay in your vehicle. Have your child exit and enter the vehicle on the passenger side.

Free Meals

The USDA has extended the SFSP free-meal program into this year. What does this mean? ALL Wheaton students, including virtual students, can eat breakfast and lunch for free. This program will begin Monday, September 14, 2020 and will continue through December or until funds run out. We will keep you updated with information as we are notified. All extra items, extra milk will still require payment. Please keep in mind this does not eliminate any unpaid balances. Please encourage your student(s) to take advantage of a free breakfast and lunch!

Important Dates

September 21-October 1- NWEA Testing for Students (Make sure your child gets a good nights rest)

October 2- No School for Students; Staff Professional Learning

October 22- Early Release for students/End of 1st Quarter

October 23- No School

October 29- 1st quarter grades sent home
