Author Dusti Bowling will be visiting our school virtually on October 17th during Disability Awareness Month! She will discuss her books including the Aven Green series, her life in the Sonoran Desert which provides inspiration for her stories. She will also share writing tips. The main character in Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus and the Aven Green series was born without any arms. In addition to the events during the school day, there will be a special virtual presentation for Fairmount families October 17th from 6-7pm!

The deadline to order is Wednesday, October 25, 2023. (The day after picture day.) You may still order photos after the sale. Each student will receive a "proof sheet" with instructions for ordering if they did not order during the pre-sale.
