A Message from the Principal
Dear Eccles Families,
There is so much the Eccles PTA does for our school. I want to express my thanks to the Eccles PTA Board of May 2019 - 2023. That’s right, for four years the PTA Board worked to keep the PTA thriving and supporting our community. As you know, this was especially difficult throughout Distance Learning and its different iterations.
Sarah Carrico, President
Annie Loaiza, Vice President
Dana Nation, Treasurer
Jessica Roberts, Volunteer Coordinator
Danielle Corey, Membership Coordinator
I am also excited to announce the incoming board, who are already partnering with the previous board to continue to make magic happen!
Jolie Ferrel, President
Danielle Apken, Vice President
Megan Duvall, Treasurer
Tracy Voeller, Secretary
Tera Abbott, Volunteer Coordinator
We have an awesome community and I really appreciate the different ways you all support our students and our school. I look forward to working with our new PTA Board to continue the stewardship of our school and community.
Sincerely,
Kelly

The award is presented in recognition of former founding CEF Board Member Roger Reif. We honor Roger’s history of community support and involvement by selecting HEROs that emulate his benevolent nature.
Upon award, the HERO Award recipient will be provided:
- $2,500 grant given towards their school's needs - determined in collaboration with the Principal
- Plaque with name in recognition
- Traveling plaque honoring recipient displayed at school for the year
After-School Child Care Program
For the 2023-2024 school year, we will continue to offer an after-school child care program at two district schools: Knight Elementary and Trost Elementary. Students from Carus and Lee Elementary will have potential busing support to attend the program at Trost Elementary. Students from Eccles and Ninety-One school will have potential busing support to attend the program at Knight Elementary. Families will need to pick up their students at either Trost or Knight Elementary.
We will offer care from 2:30-4:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. Wednesdays) at the rate of $12 per day. Families can continue to choose full-time or part-time (M, W, F or T, TH) care.
