Principal's Message
Dear Vista Families,
Our Spirit Week is next week! Show school spirit by following the recommendations on the flier below! Go Vikings!
Thank you for making a conscious effort in bringing your child to school on time each day. On Thursday, we only had three absences! This is the best attendance that we have ever had in the six years that I have been at Vista. Let's go for 100%!
Be sure to check out the CUSD Showing Up Together Campaign highlighting positive attendance. This social media challenge is for CUSD students to creatively announce the importance of regular school attendance. Submissions can be song, music, acting, newscaster announcement, or any creative way to share with others the importance of consistent attendance. Please see the flier beneath my message for more information.
Mark your calendar for two events. We have our Virtual PFA meeting on Monday, September 11th @ 6:30pm and on September 26th, Dr. Veronica Alvarez will facilitate a family art night at Vista.
Have a great weekend!
Warmly,
Mrs. Nuanes
