Congratulations to our girls volleyball team - champions of the Yellowjacket Invitational in Vernon on August 26! The Braves were undefeated against Wiregrass, Holmes County, and Altha.

Walton High's Leadership class will host a Bake Sale during lunches on Thursday, August 31. All proceeds will go to the Leadership class for future competitions and events.

Friday, September 1st will be an early release day. There will be no school on Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day.

Sign-ups for class officers (for grades 9-11) begins on Thursday, August 24. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and no major referrals to be considered. Sign up in Mrs. Zodrow's room (114) by Tuesday, August 29. Voting will take place during BRAG on Thursday, August 31.

Students that want to be considered for this year's Homecoming Court should sign up with their BRAG teachers next Tuesday and Thursday (August 29 & 31). Voting will take place on Thursday, September 7. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and no major referrals.

2023-2024 yearbooks are now on sale for $65. Lock in this lower rate before the price increases on September 16.

Join the WHS Tribe! Tribe members will participate in various events throughout the school year to help spread school spirit. Dues are $5. See Mrs. Lindsey in room 112 for an application. The first morning meeting will be held on August 29 at 7:30 a.m., and the first afternoon meeting will be held on August 30 at 3:25 p.m. Applications and dues must be turned in by September 27.

Walton High School will host Senior Epic Night for WHS seniors & their parents/guardians on Tuesday, October 3, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Every senior that attends will receive an extra rain ticket for graduation (May 17) at the end of the night. We'll also be raffling five preferred parking spaces for the capping & graduation ceremonies for parents/guardians in attendance.
