We Can't Wait to See You!!

Welcome to the 21-22 school year. It's hard to believe that the first day of school (Aug. 3) is just around the corner! We have been busy, busy this summer planning for an incredible school year ahead and can't wait to see our new and returning Eagles! Please check out our newsletter, we hope it answers any questions you may have about Meet the Teacher and Back-to-School at Hagood!

For students returning to Hagood...

All students must complete a required online student information update on the Back-to-School Gateway site during the annual update window which will begin now and will be open through late August.

Parents, please make sure you complete this as it is important that we have updated contact information in the event we need to reach you. Again, it is critical that the school has updated information on every student by the first day of school.

Sign Up for a Time to Meet with Your Child's Teacher(s)

If you are signing up for a time on your phone, please scroll down to see all time slots. There are 6 timeframes available for you to select from. Those timeframes are:

4:00-4:30

4:30-5:00

5:00-5:30

5:30-6:00

6:00-6:30

6:30-7:00

Is it possible to complete things ahead of time?

YES! Below are links or forms to print off that will help save you some time on Meet the Teachers. It is optional for you to do so ahead of time. If you choose, please print and complete, then turn into the appropriate folks at Meet The Teacher. We will have hard copies for those of you who wish to fill out while you are here Thursday, July 29.

Free/Reduced Meal Application

The free and reduced lunch program is available under the National School Lunch Program. A new application must be completed at the beginning of each school year.

District Bus Transportation Form

This form needs to be completed for all students that need bus transportation. Transportation will use this information to determine routes.

HES Car Rider Registration From

Please fill out the form below. You may list all children in the same car on one form. You will receive a number to be displayed in the front windshield of your car when you pick your child up in the afternoon.

My School Bucks

May I walk my student to class the first day?

We understand that if your child is new to HES or a PreK, Kindergarten, or 1st-grade student you wish to walk your child to class on the first day. Below is the guidance for walking your child to class.

PreK parents may walk students to class from August 3-6 and August 9 &10.

Kindergarten parents may walk students to class from August 3-6.
First grade and new to HES parents may walk students to class on the first day.

We will have the track open for parking on the first week. If you plan to walk your child to class, you will need to stay in the car rider drop-off line and wait to turn right to enter into the track area.
