Ruhkala Announcements & Schedule

Dear RUSD Elementary Families,

In order for us to begin our student placement process for the 2023-2024 school year, please complete the linked Enrollment Confirmation Form for the 2023-24 School Year. Completion of this form will help us adjust our staffing so that we can be sure there is adequate space for all children at their home school or school of choice. Completion of this form is required for EACH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT. Please complete the form as soon as possible. The deadline is Monday, April 10, 2023.

RUSD Educational Services

It's that time of year again where you have the chance to purchase your child's artwork on an item of your choice. Square 1 Art is a fundraiser for the VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) program here on campus. This fundraiser allows us to continue to buy much-needed supplies!

The order forms have been sent home with information about the products (with your child's art) that are available for purchase. You may also order keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online NOW! Simply search for your child's art using ART Search, and enter the state, school name, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order. Paper order forms can be dropped off in the office to be placed in the VAPA mailbox.

Order by: 4/21/23

These will make great gifts and document your child's artwork as they are growing up. Your products will be shipped directly to you this year and should arrive just before Mother's Day. Your purchase not only puts a smile on your child's face but also helps support our VAPA program.

VAPA Teachers

After Spring Break Ruhkala, in partnership with Whitney High School, will be collecting spare change for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Our goal is to raise $1,000! Money raised from our fundraiser will be used by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help cancer patients and their families pay for their treatments. We need your help to raise this money and we are excited to start this campaign when we get back from Spring Break! More information will be sent home in Tuesday Folders and/or by your child's teacher.
