We hope the first week of summer vacation was restful for you all. During the summer, we recommend that your student reads for pleasure to retain the reading gains. Students can keep up with their mathematical skills by visiting Khan Academy.

Southern California MADD is excited to announce another virtual Power of Youth and Power of Parents on July 22 at 4:00pm and 6:00pm respectively. During these uncertain times, we want you to be sure MADD California is still working to serve your community. While we all make our plans for when stay-at-home orders lift, MADD wants to help remind everyone how we continue to stay safe on our roadways. Our underage drinking prevention programs continue to be free-of-charge and we would like the community to take advantage. Hello HESD Families,

This is an important message from Hueneme Elementary School District. You might be eligible to get $365 per child to help feed your family, in addition to any grab-n-go meals you may be getting. Because schools are closed due to COVID-19, families who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get extra food benefits to help feed their children. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT.

Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on a P-EBT card. You can use your P-EBT card like a debit card to buy food and groceries for your children.
