Hello Trailblazer Families!

This week students continued learning about safety. Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, so check the schedule for the fun dress-up days we have planned!

October 27 is our annual STEAMfest, which is presented by our phenomenal Rollins PTA. The event is free, but there are a few fundraisers that will occur during the event, such as the hayride and concessions. Tickets for concessions and the hayride will be for sale at the event, but you can skip the line if you pre-purchase your tickets online . The book character parade will take place on October 31 at 8:15 a.m. Students should plan to dress as their favorite character found in a book. Parents are welcome to come view the parade!

Trailblazers will be celebrating their favorite book characters on Tuesday, October 31st in our annual book character parade. Families are welcome to stand or sit around our track to watch the parade. Please send your child dressed in their book character costume. Scary costumes will not be allowed. We hope to see you there!

2nd 10:35 am-11:05 am

3rd 10:55 am-11:25 am

1st 11:15 am-11:45am

5th 11:30 am-12:00 pm

4th 11:50 am-12:20 pm

K 12:05 pm-12:35 pm

Har-Ber & Springdale High School will be hosting our 6th Annual Mini-WildDog XC Races this year!!

Race Days will be:

Wednesday, 9/27 @ Har-Ber High (Rescheduled from September 20)

Wednesday, 10/11 @ George Junior High School

Wednesday, 10/25 @ Sonora Middle School

All race days begin at 4:15 pm.

Tentative Schedule for Races:

4:15 pm 5th-6th Grade Girls (1.0 Mile)

4:25 pm 5th-6th Grade Boys (1.0 Mile)

4:35 pm K-2nd Grade Girls (0.5 Mile)

4:45 pm K-2nd Grade Boys (0.5 Mile)

5:05 pm 3rd-4th Grade Girls (1.0 Mile)

5:15 pm 3rd-4th Grade Boys (1.0 Mile)

Entry fees are $5 which covers ALL three race days!

We will send a sign up form home soon! We had a lot of runners last year! Many children were proud of themselves for accomplishing goals and completing the race! Our school won two trophies last year in the K-2 Boys and the K-2 Girls divisions! Let's get more runners this year!
