Stop by the library to take a guess at the number of Hershey Kisses in the jar! Have your guess in by Friday, December 15th. The winner will be announced Monday, December 18th! The person with the closest guess will win the jar of Hershey Kisses!

If all of your library books are returned or renewed by Thursday, December 14th you can enter your name into the drawing to win a Hot Chocolate and Candy Cane! Email Mrs. Gee if you are unsure of overdue books or check in the My Info. section in Destiny Library Resources.

5 Middle School and 5 High School names will be drawn on Friday, December 15th! Winners will be emailed that afternoon.

Have you seen Alvin the Elf in the Library? Beginning Monday, December 4th start looking for the elf on the shelf when you visit. Don’t expect to see him hanging out in plain sight, he likes to find a quiet place to read. If you see him hiding, bring him to Mrs. Gee to pick out a treat! He will move daily so keep an eye out.

There is a card just inside the Library Media Center for you to sign if you wish. We are putting together a care package to send to Mr. Weber at his place of deployment and he would love to hear from all of you. If you get some time to stop in the library to sign it, I am sure he would appreciate it! Thank you!

Are you looking for a unique gift for a family member or friend? Stop by the library to pick up directions and a discarded library book to create your very own masterpiece. By simply measuring and folding pages, you can create a special gift for someone. Ask Mrs. Gee for help and then get started on your project! Not only are you taking time to create something unique, but you are also saving a book!

The Omro High School Book Club will be giving away new and gently used books to High School students during lunch on Thursday, December 21st. Stop by the table near the Cafeteria at lunch to take a book home for the holidays.

What's the catch? NOTHING! Except you won't know the title and author. You will pick out a book based on a few words written on the wrapping paper. It's like Blind Date with a Book, but for the Holidays! If you are intrigued, take a book. It's yours to keep!

Please remember to renew or return your overdue library books. Some students have been on the waitlist for books that were checked out earlier this fall. Books can be checked out for 3 weeks before they need to be returned or renewed. You can have up to 4 books checked out at one time.

When you are at the printer. Click ID Number to sign in. You do NOT have to log in with your full email and password. Do NOT click Username and Password. Click ID Number to sign in. This will save you a lot of time.

Tip: Your ID number should be the same as your Chromebook Password.
